Baggage

This is me at my rawest.

I created this piece during my lowest point in 2019. My anxiety was on another level. This piece was the final project for Bo’s Basic Contemporary program by Ming-Bo Lam. Bo had given us many tools to create sets of movements, but at that time I just couldn’t do it. All I had was the first two 8-counts and the rest of the piece was just me pouring my soul out. I smiled at the end because I was content for the first time..., I felt that I said what I needed to say.

This is a dance dedicated for myself and dance itself.
